TE1 - Spade Type Thermocouple Configurator

Spade type thermocouples sometimes referred to as shim thermocouples are temperature sensors consisting of 20 AWG stranded thermocouple wire fitted with a 0.010” thick spade soldered to the probe. The spade dimensions can be configured from ½ X ½” up to 2” X 2” for easy installation into tight spaces where drilling and tapping a hole is not practical. The TE1 is often selected for placing under the edge of a strip, nozzle or band heater or held in place by a clamp. The spade style thermocouple may be ordered with a grounded or ungrounded junction and comes in standard type J, K, T and E calibrations. Other calibrations are available by request. Lead wire length, protection and termination options and special features may be specified.
