KE SIL2 NAK Sodium Potassium - Output 4...20mA - SIL2

The KE Series are for use in high temperature applications where the process temperatures may reach 538°C (1000°F) such as high temperature engineered polymers. The K Series utilizes standard melt pressure principles and construction, but uses a near incompressible NAK (Sodium Potassium) for pressure transmission. The thick film extensimetric technology of KE series provides to transform the physical quantity “pressure” into an electrical signal, in this case 4 to 20 mA. The SIL2 certified version makes the product suitable for use in the Functional Safety applications, particularly in the process plants for the production of polymers, where it is an essential requirement.

The K7 Series are for use in high temperature applications where the process temperatures may reach 538°C (1000°F) such as high temperature engineered polymers. K3 NAK - Sodium Potassium - mV/V Output

The K3 Series are pressure sensors  for use in high temperature applications where the process temperatures may reach 538°C (1000°F) such as high temperature engineered polymers.

The K Series utilizes standard melt pressure principles and construction; strain sensing technology is bonded foil strain gage.

A near incompressible sodium-potassium (i.e. NaK) mixture is used for pressure transmission.

NaK is FDA recognized safe (GRAS) substance.

Application:

  • As for FDA approval,  K series is suitable for Mercury free , food and medical application
  • Processing  special polymers, technopolymers (538°C /1000°F)

ILK NAK - Sodium Potassium - IO-Link Digital Output - SIL2 - PLd

The ILK Performance Level ‘d’/SIL2 series of Gefran are pressure transmitters for using in high temperature environment with digital IO-Link output interface.The constructive principle is based on the hydraulic trasmission of the pressure.This new series ILK with “IO-Link” interface is a Smart device specifically designed to meet the requirements of “Industry 4.0” environment, with auxiliary information suitable to prevent machine downtime and thanks to the “mercury free” solution it can withstand up to 538°C of process temperature.
