Able to withstand exceedingly high temperatures of up to 1400°F/ 760°C, they can be customized by width and length according to your needs. SRD Silicone Extruded Industrial Heating Tapes
With their medium watt density (15 or 30 watts per feet) and industrial style heating of 120 to 240 watts, these silicone rubber extruded were built for industrial uses. Their rubber outer cover provides abrasion and dielectric protection, making them ideal for applications when moisture, chemical, and abrasion resistance is required. Able to withstand temperatures of 450°F/ 232°C, they are ideal for when you need something that goes beyond the capabilities of elastomer insulated cables and tapes.
Silicone Extruded Duo-Tapes®
ASR Silicone Rubber Extruded Duo-Tapes are high temperature, flexible electric heating elements. A unique dual element circuit design allows the convenience of power leads on one end. Duo-Tapes® may be used on conductive surfaces as well as ceramic or glass.
May be operated to temperatures of 450°F (232°C) with short term exposure to 500°F (260°C). They are available in ½ inch and 1 inch widths and lengths from 2 feet to 40 feet. The element is a knitted Duo-Tape® for flexibility and durability, which allows both power leads to be on one end. This construction can operate with occasional moisture present, but may not be submerged. Duo-Tape® heaters are extremely rugged. The Silicone outer cover allows them to be used on practically all surfaces, and for applications where moisture, chemical, and abrasion resistance is required. Do not overlap this element.
Industrial Trace Heating Cable, Jackets and Blankets
Able to withstand temperatures of 185°F/85°C, our self-regulating, low exposure trace heating cable is designed for maintenance and freeze-protection applications. It’s an ideal fit for when temperature requirements are below those of traditional flexible heating tapes. Made with a metallic over braid, polyolefin jacket, it has a multilayer construction that allows it maintain flexibility while being moisture and corrosion resistant. Able to be cut in the field when necessary, it’s a durable, adaptable, and effective solution to your needs. Heating Blankets and Jackets are a great solution where instruments or other components need to be serviced. Traced Jackets may quickly be removed and replaced for temporary access.
