SWHC Mineral-insulated “MGO” thermocouples are manufactured using an outer metal sheath material with the TC element embedded in a compacted magnesium oxide insulation. They offer robust life and precise temperature measurement in applications where shock and vibration are present. MGO thermocouples come in type J, K, T and E calibrations with a wide variety of options in sensing probes, Connection head styles, Coffee Roaster types, melt bolt styles, mounting and termination configurations, wire insulations, outer abrasion protections such as Stainless-steel braid and flex armor hose.
